Plastic Injection

Injection molding is a process in which a thermoplastic polymer is heated above its melting point, resulting in the conversion of the solid polymer to a molten fluid with plausibly low viscosity, and withal is a reliable and cost-efficacious method of productioning high volumes of solid plastic components and products. The technique involves melting a polymer into a liquid state, then utilizing high pressures to coerce it into a hollow mold. Once it has cooled and solidified, it is abstracted from the mold, and the cycle reiterates.
